If you have access to php.ini you may turn safe mode off:

In any case I patched the code to avoid this bug. So please install new version 1.7.2

intenté instalar el plugin , pero en la sección widgets no deja arrastrar nada y expandir las sidebar , esto ocurre solo con el plugin activado.

Debe ser un problema de algún otro plugin que activa su código javascript de manera indiscriminada en el panel de control.

No puedo hacer nada. Es bastante difícil aislar plugins con fallas en javascript y si lo lograras lamentablemente el autor no está obligado a solucionarlo.

Aún puedes usar la etiqueta nomikos_fifa_world_cup_scoreboard_widget_manual en el sidebar (sidebar.php) de tu tema actual.

HI hr. I really don’t know what happens…

Questions:

1.- Do you use widget or tag “nomikos_fifa_world_cup_scoreboard_widget_manual”?
2.- Do you include the shortcode “wp_fifa_world_cup_scoreboard” in a page or post (although is not necessary)

More important:

3.- Do you have “curl” extension enabled?
4.- What value has allow_url_fopen in php.ini? Must be true and can only be set in php.ini.

These last conditions are imperative to the scrape process. Thinking better these are the only reasons for your problem.

Whip it your hosting service and everything will be OK.

3.- Are you tried deactivate and reinstall version 1.7.2?

If this last actions do not resolve the problem sorry to say that I can’t do nothing more.

Nomikos, after upgrading to wp 3.0 from v2.9.2 – plugins back does not work, what happened and whether there was reporting the same thing happens? So I just did not activate.

Parece que no has actualizado a la versión 2, por lo menos no la veo en tu sitio.
El scoreboard (top bar según yo) es del plugin.
Fíjate que al final de este post hay una imagen que muestra [x] “Show top bar” (Configuración/Settings > FIFA World Cup South Africa scoreboard).

NomikOS, si es cierto que no lo tenia actualizado aun por que el internet estaba andando muy mal como para actualizarlo, pero si lo actualice ahora en uno d emis blogs, el problema es que no me salen los resultados, si miras en http://toolerweb.com tengo el plugin actualizado y me dice lo siguiente en la página del fixture: “No results for FIFA World Cup South Africa scoreboard ”

En http://simpleyllano.com no lo tengo actualizado, pero funciona correctamente.

Creo que se puede tratar de un Bug, gracias por la pronta respuesta y de nuevo gracias por el plugin!

Marcelo no está en la dirección que me has dado.
Me han escrito sobre hartos errores especialmente de javascript.
Aún no tengo tiempo pero quizás más tarde pueda revisar a fondo el plugin. Aunque es un plugin “úsese y tírese” lo han bajado más de 1500 veces en estas dos semanas y me siento muy comprometido. Además una vez que pase el mundial pienso modificarlo para otros usos basados en un scraper. De nuevo están volviendo los temblores fuertes acá en Chile –ayer 5.8 y hoy 4.8. Así que un scoreboard de temblores puede ser mi contribución póstuma. LOL…

Si es cierto es un plugn para usarlo por un tiempo, pero da pena no? =) es muy bueno.

En cuanto a los temblores, una pensa, espero todo se mejore por ahí y meritos a chile por el mundial, los latinos estamos donde siempre tuvimos que estar; Fuerza LATINA!

Thanks for the update.
I think there is a small miscalculation with the timezone.
Look for example at Argentina-Germany – the game is over and the clock shows there is 4 more hours till the game…
I tried to locate the bug but couldn’t find where it comes from..

Thanks for the update Nomik, unfortunately though it didn’t resolve the issue with the admin menus. I’ve just tried it in FireFox too with the same result, and the Error Console had the following info:

Error: $.cookie is not a function
Source File: http://worldcup.theweare.net/wp-content/plugins/fifa-world-cup-south-africa-scoreboard/js/common.js?ver=3.0

… Any more ideas?

The last uploading version (2.1) was incomplete (some files were not replaced). Now Is OK.
You must delete && reinstall the plugin.

@Maor: It is assumed that PHP time function ( time() ) always must delivery GMT time. Not local. Check it please.

Unfortunately the error’s still there… I did delete the original plugin then re-install it and it still has the same effect. Maybe I’m the only one having this issue :-/ In any case if you’ve stopped working on it no worries, it was only meant as an extra on my site anyways so I’m not too bothered about it anymore.

Necesitas un sitio que ofrezca datos via RSS. Como por ejemplo en todo WP hay un alimentador (feeder) como: http://nomikos.info/feed/rss. De esta manera se pueden analizar los datos más fácilmente. Lo otro es alimentar periódicamente a mano una base de datos. Lo quieres tanto como para darte esa pega? Cuando los tengas me los tiras por sobre la cordillera. LOL. d^^

Esa tabla es perfecta para escrapear. En todo caso mañana empiezo otro job en vWorker. Así que no tendré mucho tiempo disponible. Oye, y pueden caer algunas monedas con todo este trajín? O es sólo por amor al fútbol? Por que la verdad aquí en Chile, al menos yo, no tengo nada de que enorgullecerme. De hecho me molesta que se le dé tanta importancia a algo a lo que le pegamos tan poco. En Argentina es otra cosa me imagino.
